"The finer things arts in life."
Directed as a photographic journal, these works showcase the exploration of subjective experiences to alter the experience of perceiving art. Themes of introspection, conceptualization, and interchangeability, share the artistic revelations of a photographer struggling to exercise their subjectivity following institutionalization. Manipulating perspective throughout different avenues of the fine arts, each installment utilizes cross-cultural communication to contextualize the philosophy of each experience.
Making way for future installments, the collection will be presented as an episodic breakdown of self as the artist reapproaches their relationship with art. Entering an artistic rebirth, inspiration from a collective of creators sparks deepens the photographer’s understanding of purpose. Grieving complacency of self, they embark on a perceptive pilgrimage in hopes of seeing themself in art. Tragically attached to the objective, the inability to experience their own work from an outside perspective haunts them in all their works. The teachings of role models begin to set the stage for a revolution of the mind, where the experimentations of the subjective bare fruits of curiosity, waiting to be dissected.
